Design Wall Monday

This really isn't on my design wall now - since I finished it last night - but since I didn't have any pictures of the WIP - and since it only took me 1 week - I wanted to get a photo up on my wall of the completed quilt.  This is for one of my husband's friends who is expecting a baby early next month.  He asked me to make him a baby quilt last week - lots of notice, eh?  They are Mexican - and love bright colors, and they didn't know if it was a boy or a girl, so I dug through my stash and this is what I came up with.  I really love this pattern, and will use it more often to make baby quilts.  I did have to buy backing, I like to use flannel for backing baby quilts - and I was all out.

Very cute and the bright colors are so cheerful. I also like flannel on the back of baby quilts - and big people quilts.
